Visual analysis

Use visual analysis to review offer clarity, images and content, then verify observations and choose improvements suited to the buyer experience.

Review what the buyer sees

Review product image clarity, size and material information, and price presentation. Visual observations help raise better questions; they do not establish actual quality or sales performance.

Verify before publishing

Compare observations with the actual product and supplier information before changing text or images. Check feature availability and limits in your plan and account settings.

A product-page review checklist

Start with the main image: does it show the actual product, its scale and relevant details? Review additional images and text that helps the buyer, including materials, measurements, availability and delivery. Give images clear names and descriptive alternative text. Price and essential attributes should be readable text, not information available only within an image.

Example: reviewing a garment image

A review may reveal that an image does not explain fabric texture or where a measurement is taken. You could add a close-up and a supplier-checked measurement table explaining how to measure. Do not infer a material, brand or defect from the image alone when evidence is insufficient. The aim is to improve buyer understanding and address missing information, then measure what actually changed.

Connect an observation to an action

Record the observation, the element to change and who holds the correct information. Check image-use rights and text accuracy before publication, then monitor buyer questions and requests for details. Compare the observation with competitor research and your offer plan so visual review supports a buying decision rather than a purely cosmetic change.
